Bobby Flay's Kentucky Ham Salad
This salad was created by Bobby Flay who sees it as a fall salad. I think it would be terrific as a summer salad, too though you may have to substitute for the fresh figs. The combination of ingredients look outstanding and somewhat Mediterranean. Recipe appeared in People magazine.

Ree Drummond's Cheeseburger Salad
This is an adaption of a Pampered Chef recipe that's great for the coming hot weather, says Ree. She says, It's crazy, crazy good. It's similar to a taco salad (it's made with ground meat, cheese and tomatoes on top of lettuce) but the addition of pickles and buttery croutons give it a whole new life. This recipe appears on Ree's blog; I don't believe it has been on her television program yet.

Asparagus, Pickled Beets & Blue Cheese Salad
I created this salad after perusing some recipes here and using what I had on hand, avoiding anything too sweet. The pickled beets are just the right ouch of sweet & sour. Looks pretty too! If your onion is too strong, slice and put in an ice water bath for 5 minutes and drain. Cooking time is blanching and ice water bath time.

Fattoush (Pitta Salad)
A middle eastern dish, absolutely delicious and a welcome change to the usual, plain lettuce and rocket salad for those watching their weight.

Yumurta Piyazi - Gaziantep/ Turkish-Style Egg Salad
Spruced up from turkishcookbook.com. I hardboil eggs the same manner as the woman who posted this recipe on her site: I love eggs cooked 'between soft boiled and hard boiled' so I only leave the eggs in the hot water for 4 minutes. I couldn't determine by looking at the photo posted on her site if she used Italian/flat leaf parsley or curly parsley for that reason I'll let you choose. If using sumac, omit the salt. A few Turkish olives garnished over the salad doesn't sound like a bad idea either.

Mexican Seven Layer Salad
Seven Layer Salad with Chilpotle spiced Dressing with Lime. The original recipe came from Cookingclub.com. I ajusted some of the ingredient amounts for less waste. It was a great Tex Mex dish for pot luck gatherings.
