A source tells the Hollywood Reporter that L.A. Reid signed his contract for season 2 of X Factor yesterday (Feb 3). Earlier in the week, news broke that Steve Jones, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger would not be returning.

Two Kris Allen demos have leaked on the internet. There’s no information about “Forget About You” or “Parachutes”, but I’m guessing they are discards from the Kris Allen era–neither tune strikes me as album-worthy.
